He had a great personality on the day and was the perfect blend of an MC who was communicative but not overly on top of the mic. “Your experience with Mostest will highly depend on your assigned planner. Fortunately Mostest allows you to request a switch if it’s not a fit. I was originally paired with a coordinator who was not as proactive/did not project confidence and ability to guide. Mostest was super accommodating with getting me reassigned, replacing my original planner with Lanise within a day of me contacting them. Everything was smooth sailing from there on out! If you’re in Houston I highly recommend Lanise as a month-of coordinator! She consistently went above and beyond leading up to and on the day of my wedding. She is professional, organized, confident, and creative. I am a very Type A person, so it was important to me to have someone I could really trust with the details. Lanise sent detailed recaps with action items after each of our weekly meetings, was available over text when I had questions, smoothly handled vendor communications and even some family coordination for speeches, conducted venue visits, and did an AMAZING job decorating and keeping things moving on the day of. I came in with a pretty detailed vision and provided mockups of my table settings and special decor, but Lanise truly understood the assignment and executed it with such care and precision. I was blown away when I walked into the venue. She did not miss a detail! She was also just a fun and reliable presence throughout the night and even took what ended up being some of our favorite photos for us on her phone. Highly recommend!!!”

“From my first call with JJ Essen, I knew his team was a good fit. He was prompt, communicative, and organized. He assigned Scott as our DJ & Javier as our photobooth attendant. Scott was equally communicative & organized. He set up multiple calls throughout the process, and was super flexible with us when we had to change our venue & timeline 3 weeks before the wedding. I sent Scott some specific songs, but also shared my Spotify playlists, and he made sure the entire night was popping! The dance floor was full all night, as Scott played banger after banger. He really nailed my music taste! And Javier made the photobooth so fun for my guests! “Bakers Ranch is a team of informed wedding professionals who are experts in the unique art of weddings. Our wedding day felt like pure magic, and it is truly thanks to the incredible team at this wedding venue. Our guests were in awe of the space, and we received so many compliments regarding the décor, drinks, food, photographer and overall experience. My husband and I put a lot of time and research into finding the right wedding venue for us, and we walked away from our wedding day with a feeling of pride for our selection, and gratitude for the support we received. We looked at venues across three states. It was a little overwhelming and emotional, knowing that the venue would dictate so much of our time as an engaged couple and ultimately, our one wedding day. Bakers Ranch immediately stood out to us, it was an all-inclusive wedding venue that would eliminate some stress of planning. It had a gorgeous green backdrop of ancient oaks and rich foliage. It had Jeremy, a wedding planner that was calm, reassuring, honest and unlike any wedding professional we had met in our search. We booked the first available Saturday the following year almost immediately. I was also an extremely detail-oriented bride, straight down to the plates, the handmade table cards, and a personal note for each attendee. But it was all perfect. The decor, the flowers, the cocktails, the food, the week before, the day before, the day of, were all a dream. Everything that I communicated was heard. “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”
